Our Log Homes
Among sweeping lawns, lush woodlands and emerald green waters are nestled six unique, custom-built luxury log and timber-frame homes.
Carved from the wilds, each of our cabins was individually designed and handcrafted by our friends and world-class master craftsmen at Pioneer Log Homes, also known as HGTV’s Timber Kings. Expertly constructed from the finest character red cedar, and lovingly furnished by Anne Huston and her warehouse of antique treasures, our luxury wilderness lodging is unmatched anywhere in the world.
All architecturally spectacular log homes offer stunning views and are situated for guest privacy. Appointed with central heating, cosy living areas, private bathrooms, private decks and authentic period antiques,
you’ll feel right at home in the middle of nowhere.
Tim’s House
…where the heart is.
We begin the evening’s festivities at our classic lodge bar, where we share stories and make new friends over classic cocktails, Okanagan wines and our infamous frosty goblets of local beer.
Tim’s House is named after Phil Huston’s youngest brother Tim. Brother Tim was the youngest of six siblings and had Down Syndrome. “He taught me everything that that was important in life and what was not by osmosis. Few have such a gifted mentor.” - Phil Huston.
There couldn’t be a more perfect namesake for the house that is at the heart of everything we do.
Welcome home
Situated at the head of a lush green lawn that runs down towards a 10 acre pond, Tim’s House is a central gathering place where we start the day, plan your activities, dine together, play games and socialise at the bar. The Main Suite on the third floor is vast and bright, boasting an exquisite canopy bed crafted from 800-year-old Juniper logs. A lighthearted hand-painted mural in the Main House Great Room took 10 days to finish, and depicts fly fishing bears with human characteristics reflective of important people in the Hustons’ lives.
The wraparound deck is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail or a cigar at the end of the day, overlooking the spectacle of the sun casting its golden light on sparkling, snow-capped mountains.
The Tower House
A fairy tale luxury log castle
While deeply immersed in comfort, you are never far from the wilds. With balconies on each of the three floors, floor to ceiling windows and panoramic views looking out to the private lake and mountains beyond, the flora and fauna that surrounds you are just at your fingertips.

Keep nature in your heart
Our spectacular Tower House is an architectural wonder that must be seen to be believed.
Tiptoe through the trees towards the waters edge, where aspen and pine open up to unveil a magnificent luxury log castle fit for royalty. The first glance will take your breath away.
A stay in The Tower House is a stay designed for opulence and romance. The artwork, antiques and furniture are evocative of the Romanticism era - your plush chaise lounge, log crafted king-sized bed and top floor outlook Rapunzel tower set the scene for the most passionate of escapes.
Carl’s House
Unwind in a wooden cathedral
Cosy up with a book in the spacious, open plan living area while bathed in sunlight, enjoy a refreshing cocktail on the wraparound deck or play games with friends around the table. However you wish to unwind, this is the perfect place to do it.
Reconnect with nature
A tribute to our Chilcotin ranch roots , this extraordinary 2 storey timber-frame nods to farmhouse chic with its turn of the century antiques adorning every wall. Carl’s House comes alive with light, with floor to ceiling windows that gaze out over sprawling lawns, which is why this extraordinary log home is also known as our “wooden catherdral”. With two full-sized bedrooms and bathrooms, this is the perfect place to escape with your family or a group of friends.
Annie’s Tea House
Look to the stars
This beautiful log cabin has a generous sprinkling of large windows, flooding each room with light at every angle. Come the nighttime, you have front seats to a spectacular show of stars, with the Milky Way twinkling at you from the comfort of your bed.
Wake among mountains…
Annie’s Tea House, perched on the uppermost pinnacle of the Huston Estate, is the perfect spot to view the sun rise and set over mountain vistas. A tribute to the classic frontier log cabin, every aspect is designed to make this your home away from home. A stunning artisan-crafted kitchen with alder wood detail lends itself to late night conversations with wine and cards, and in the loft bedroom a king sized bed frame made of centuries old Juniper wood brings the peace of nature indoors.
Ben’s Bunk House
Soak your worries away…
Relish and relax into every moment with your private, wood-fired hot tub. Sip on your favourite cocktail with friends, or a glass of champagne with your loved one underneath a canopy of stars. While the sweet smoky scent of red cedar fills your nostrils and owls hoot gently in the distance, it’s too easy to lose track of time at the Bunk House.
The perfect place…
The Bunk House is often referred to as “the artists’ cabin”. Simplistic, secluded and utterly serene, the views outside the window-fronted timber cabin will ignite your imagination and fill you with inspiration.
Sip your hot morning coffee in the comfort of your plush king-sized bed, your front-row seat to paradise. Gaze out as birds softly land upon the rippled water, deer rustle by in the morning’s mist, and sometimes, if you’re lucky, you may spot a moose bunking down for the night at the waters edge.
Bryan’s House
Cabin, Sweet Cabin
Follow the grassy path and flowered berms to a small opening in the woods, where you’ll glimpse a quaint cottage nestled among the trees, with a charming patio seating area beckoning on the deck. Bryan’s House is a perfectly secluded classic log cabin, and the only cabin that is original to the property (built circa. 1970). Traditional, frontier decor with a thoughtful, unique touches, you’ll feel right at home in this wonderfully cosy woodland dwelling.
A breath of fresh air
Set in a lush, grassy area with a lovely lawn and in close proximity to our adventure course and kubb court, this house is perfect for small families and those with four-legged friends. The surrounding woodlands are scattered with vibrant wildflowers ripe for the picking, and mule deer will often pop by to nibble on the flora on a sunny morning.
“We stayed in the Tower House and it was worth it. The workmanship is worth seeing first hand. I can't think of any other building that I have been in where I just sat in awe of its construction. It was an absolute treat and we would be back there in a heartbeat. If you want an experience of a lifetime this is it.”
